Pastel Wooden Trees

Pastel Wooden Trees for Open-Ended Play

Our pastel wooden trees bring a soft pop of color to any play space. Each tree is hand painted in pink, yellow, peach, mint, blue, or lavender, and we leave the natural wood base unpainted so you can see the real wood grain. The result is a set that feels sturdy in little hands and looks beautiful sitting on a shelf.

We recently updated the way we paint these trees, and we love how they turned out. The new finish is smooth and even, with crisp tiers and a soft matte look that shows off each pastel shade.

So Many Ways to Play

Kids use these trees to build forests, fairy gardens, and tiny towns. They stand up nicely in sensory bins, press right into playdough, and fit right into small world play. Because they’re open-ended, children come up with new ideas every time they play.

A colorful set like this also makes learning feel natural. For example, kids can sort the trees by color, count them, or line them up in patterns. That’s why teachers and therapists often use our pastel wooden trees for color recognition and fine motor practice.

A Lovely Gift for Little Ones

The soft colors and natural wood make these trees a great fit for Montessori and Waldorf-inspired homes. They also make a thoughtful gift for toddlers and preschoolers. To round out your set, take a look at our wooden mushrooms, which pair perfectly with the trees for woodland play.

We hand paint every tree in our small family business in Michigan. Since each one is painted by hand, colors and wood grain may vary slightly from the photos.
